Legalisation of Thai Documents

The procedure for legalisation of Thai documents and certificates to be used in Denmark, in case of marriage in Denmark et al., is as follows:

  • The Thai documents and translations of these into English * should first be legalised by the Legalisation Department in the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • The Legalisations Department's signature is hereafter to be legalised by this Embassy, or by one of the Danish consulates.
* Please note, that we reserve the right to reject legalising a translation, which is not correct, even though it has already been legalised by the Legalisation Department of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
